Challenge
With an increasing number of NEETS (neither in employment, education or training) aged 18–24, especially those facing extra barriers, the employment and support system is under immense pressure from government targets that inadvertently prioritise quantity over quality. Funded projects focus on ‘work readiness,’ but they overlook the essential first step, the readiness to become work ready. That takes inspiration, belief, and deeper support than the current system provides.
Solution
GEN-b believes that every young person deserves opportunity. To take hold of their future, to learn and adapt, and become who they aspire to be. We proudly dedicate a minimum of 10% of our time and 100% of our resources to supporting young people in schools, colleges and recruitment centres in unlocking and generating their brilliance.
